I’m more or less wired about this cottage project. Can you tell? So the Nova Scotia Power inspector put the magic sticker on the temporary service, and the poles will be put in next week sometime. I was down yesterday overnight and the road is dry as can be. No ruts or major holes. Sky and I slept overnight and enjoyed an early loon symphony and watched a porcupine in the morning as ducks qucked across the lake. It was lovely.

Have been biking and loving it. Put synthetic oil in this spring because it was on sale. The bike of course is as smooth and enjoyable to ride as can be.

My friend Ben Sichel is playing in a “Contra Dance” band tomorrow night and I hope to do the sound, but have to meet a guy at the lake to sell the trailer. If there’s a delay they’ll have to do their own sound or recruit a standin. I’ll lend my mixing board anyway, but was hoping to record too. Hopefully everything works out.
