Here’s an update on the cottage project.

Heather and I had a very short visit to New Orleans last week where she attended a training session for a medical gas company.

It was nice and warm, and interesting, although with just a day and a half my time was spent in the touristy French Quarter. It was nice though.

Meanwhile I’ve stopped taking Lipitor due to side effects, sore muscles mainly, and will start a new prescription in a week or so. I’m also taking Omega 3 fish oil capsules and if possible will get off all medication when my cholesterol levels are satisfactory and will try to manage it with diet and exercise.

It’s still too damn cold to motorcycling and with snow in the forecast for the weekend it will still be a while.

Samba this past month has been an absolute joy. We played three paying gigs and are getting or performance routine down better each time. This summer will be pretty great.
